Helena is a leadership and organisation development consultant with 25 years’ experience of designing and running global and local leadership programmes across all sectors.
She is also a coach and facilitator working with individuals, teams and organisations to help them build their capability and effectiveness, raise awareness and take right action. She has led two consultancy practices in the UK and so knows the challenges and pinch-points of leading first-hand and of creating change from the inside.
Her work encompasses deep-dive and bold personal transformational work which draws on principles of adult development and adult learning and her own experience of this form of learning. She also works more cognitively with approaches to developing strategic and change capabilities through exploring complexity and emergence. Current and past clients include EY, Danone, various UK Civil Service departments, a global investment bank and a UK High St brand.
Her approach is rooted in academic depth and rigour which she balances with a deeply practical and human way of working always seeking to ask ‘so what? and to make learning useful. She balances high support with high challenge and is known for her compassion and her clarity. She is keenly interested in how organisations and individuals can balance head, heart and spirit and is researching, writing and speaking about the role love could or should play in organisations and beyond.
As well as a first degree, Helena holds an MA in Leadership and Learning from Lancaster University. She has trained as a teacher of the Hoffman Process and holds an ICF accredited coaching qualification. Prior to moving into consulting, Helena worked in strategic HR roles in Touche Ross, Aon and Dennis Publishing.
