An inspirational and motivational coach, facilitator and trainer. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; over 20 years of experience in the personal and professional development field; passionate about making a difference by motivating people to lead healthier lives, filled with meaning and purpose.
For the last 6 years I have been working from home coaching one-to-one, running small groups for women, delivering talks, retreats, transformational workshops and events, and managing a busy household.
Alongside my private clients, I’ve also been an active member of Women in Power CIC, staffing events working with large groups of women using theatre, storytelling, archetypes, and shadow work to support women to empower themselves and step into greater leadership in their lives.
Prior to that I worked for 7 years as a Lecturer at Brighton University, designing, and delivering development curriculum. This covered a range of professional and personal development seminars, lectures and workshops including Stress Management, Emotional Intelligence, and Mindfulness. A personal highlight for me was delivering a three-day employability coaching workshop for graduates, “Transform your Life”, that drew on NLP techniques, using creative visualisation and goal setting.
Whilst working at Brighton Uni I completed a Post Grad Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, a Certificate in NLP for business training delivery, Certificate in Coaching for students. I also wrote for the Student newspaper and Wellbeing blog and delivered training to staff on away days.
I have a degree in Classical Civilisation, qualifications in Complementary Therapies and Journalism and a love for African Drumming and dancing. I live in the South Downs with my family and other animals.
